Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
My Personal Cleaner
At My Personal Cleaner, we reserve dedicated time for each home we service. When appointments are missed or canceled last minute, it impacts our team and other customers. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Standard Cancellation Notice
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment.
Late Cancellations
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost.
Same-Day Cancellations / Lockouts
If our team arrives and is unable to access the home, or the appointment is canceled upon arrival, this will be treated as a same-day cancellation and may be charged up to 100% of the scheduled service cost.
Examples include:
- No one home to provide entry
- Locked doors or pets not secured
- Utilities unavailable (water or electricity)
Recurring Service Clients
Clients on a recurring schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) who cancel multiple appointments may lose their reserved time slot. We will do our best to reschedule, but availability cannot be guaranteed.
Emergency Exceptions
We understand that emergencies happen. Cancellation fees may be waived at our discretion for:
- Illness
- Family emergencies
- *Severe weather
- Other unforeseen circumstances
Please communicate with us as soon as possible if an emergency arises.
